DAM good! Filecamp is my new best find!

I know that, like me, a lot of you have been relying on Google for document sharing.  I have some fantastic news, DAM good, you might say.  Digital Asset Management has been taken to a new level.

Now, I’m not going to Google bash; they’ve been pioneers.  Despite some things I’d like to see improved, they are an essential part of my every day life, both personal and business.  In short, I’ve been Google addicted, right down to my phone.  However, I’ve found an incredibly improved file sharing system.

File sharing doesn’t really do it justice though.  Filecamp does it all.  They’re a one-stop shop for file sharing, FTP, online proofing and image library – in one, integrated, secure, cost-effective solution.

I feel like I can offer both collaborators and clients a smooth, easy way to work on projects while I look SO legit.  Filecamp let’s you customize your sharing with your logo and colors.  I don’t mean one obviously stuck in, pixelated, squished logo – I’m talking the whole thing is integrated to look like your professionally hosted personal sharing suite.  Talk about instilling a sense of professionalism and security; your clients will be impressed.  It brings a polished and savvy interface to match your business.

So, say you’re a graphic designer working with a client on a newsletter, but you’re doing so in conjunction with a copy editor.  You can make both of them a user account for your site (did I mention that it’s YOUR site, with YOUR business name?) and control their permissions. Decide if they can upload, download, edit, delete, etc etc.

Now that they’re all set to visit your file sharing site, Filecamp’s proofing process is nothing short of awesome.  This is where it really shines, and leaves Google in the dust.  As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, so check it out below.

Right?! Insert comments in text and right IN images!  Files used in each page are right there and can be swapped – I can’t tell you what a timesaver this is!  Their professional image gallery could really be it’s own post – it’s that cool.

I could go on singing thier praises and listing their features, but nothing will make you a believer like their free trial will.  So, head on over to Filecamp’s complete file sharing solution for creative businesses and let me know what you think!

As if all this wan’t enough, there’s a major update coming soon!  It really is Christmas!

Haha, ok, so I’m obviously excited.  Perhaps only a true geek would be this excited for a digital asset management system, but if you are that kind of geek, this is the one that’s going to excite you too.
